Web Developer

We are looking for a hands-on Web Developer who can take Figma designs and turn them into fully functioning, production-ready websites using WordPress or similar platforms. This role is primarily code-focused, not design-focused.

Beyond development, you will also own the technical health of the websites—including hosting management, performance optimization, security, and troubleshooting live issues.

This is a role for someone who builds, launches, and maintains real websites end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

Website Development

• Convert Figma designs into fully functional, responsive websites
• Develop custom WordPress themes or modify existing themes using clean, structured code
• Write and maintain HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP as required
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Integrate plugins, forms, analytics, tracking tools, and third-party services

Hosting & Technical Management

• Set up and manage hosting environments (shared, VPS, or managed hosting)
• Monitor website performance, uptime, and stability
• Troubleshoot and resolve:
  • Website slowdowns
  • Server or hosting issues
  • Plugin/theme conflicts
  • Website crashes or errors

Performance, Security & Reliability

• Optimize website speed using caching, CDNs, and best practices
• Implement basic security hardening and protection against:
  • Bot attacks
  • Spam
  • Brute-force attempts
• Perform updates, backups, and routine maintenance
• Ensure websites remain stable during updates and changes

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience developing websites using WordPress or similar CMS platforms
• Strong ability to convert Figma designs into live websites
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, WordPress architecture (themes, plugins, hooks)
• Experience working with hosting panels and environments (cPanel, Cloudways, WP Engine, etc.)
• Ability to debug and solve real-world website issues independently
• Good understanding of website performance and security fundamentals

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience with Figma and basic UI/UX understanding
• Experience with custom PHP development or headless WordPress
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and analytics tools
• Experience working across multiple industries and project types

What This Role Is NOT

• Not a UI/UX or graphic design role
• Not a heavy backend or software engineering role
• Not a drag-and-drop, page-builder-only position

This role is about building and owning websites technically.
