Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable web applications.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for mobile and web platforms.
• Work closely with QA Engineers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to best practices and standards.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and bugs.
• Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices, especially for healthcare data compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
• Contribute to deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in PHP, Laravel, and web development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development, with strong experience using the Laravel framework.
• Good understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js is an advantage.
• Experience working with relational databases – MySQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
