Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Miner to identify high-intent legal funding opportunities by reviewing U.S. County Court dockets. This role involves extracting key information from probate filings and performing skip-tracing to create a high-quality lead list for our outreach team.

Key Responsibilities

• Navigate assigned U.S. County Clerk and Superior Court websites to identify new Probate and Estate filings daily.
• Accurately extract critical data points, including:
  • Case Number
  • Date of Filing
  • Petitioner/Executor names
  • Attorney of Record
  • Estimated Estate Value
• Identify funding triggers in court documents (e.g., creditor claims, large real estate holdings, contested wills).
• Maintain and update a clean CSV/Excel master list or CRM, ensuring zero duplication.

Qualifications

Required

• Reliable laptop with 8GB+ RAM
• High-speed internet (60 Mbps or higher)
• C1–C2 English proficiency

Preferred

• Dedicated and quiet workspace
• Second monitor and noise-canceling headphones
• Strong detective mindset; ability to connect dots between filings and financial needs
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel (data cleaning, VLOOKUP, deduplication)
• Experience with web scraping or manual data mining
• Familiarity with U.S. geography (Counties/States) is a plus
