A world-class quantitative research group is looking for a data-focused Software Engineer to architect and scale the platforms that power their AI/ML-driven trading models.

What You’ll Do

🖥️ Engineer Core Systems

• Design and build services, APIs, and distributed systems that ingest, process, and deliver massive volumes of market and alternative data.

🔧 Own the Data Infrastructure

• Shape and optimize data pipelines, orchestration layers, and real-time systems to ensure data is clean, reliable, and fast—every time.

🤝 Bridge Engineering & Research

• Work directly with quant researchers, translating data and model requirements into robust, production-grade engineering solutions.

⚙️ Deploy & Operate at Scale

• Collaborate with infrastructure and ML platform teams to enable smooth deployments, strong automation, and high-performance real-time execution.

🧠 Enable Machine Learning at Scale

• Build the engineering foundation that allows advanced ML and statistical models to run efficiently in production
  (No ML modeling expertise required).

What They’re Looking For

• Strong experience building production-grade software systems, ideally in data-intensive environments
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with cloud-native tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Familiarity with data and workflow orchestration tools such as:
  • Airflow
  • dbt
  • Stream processing frameworks
• Understanding of ML concepts is a plus, but not required
• A true builder’s mentality—someone who enjoys creating reliable, elegant systems that scale
