Position Overview
Are you energized by face-to-face interaction and building strong client relationships? Rockpoint is seeking a high-energy Field Sales Director to sell our products in person to personal injury law firms. This role is boots-on-the-ground: you’ll own your territory, develop personal relationships, and become a trusted presence in the community.
We are looking for a charismatic, relatable, and proactive extrovert who thrives in in-person meetings and delivers a superior client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, build, and develop new business opportunities outside the existing portfolio.
- Conduct multiple weekly client meetings to uncover needs and deliver results.
- Maintain accurate records and manage sales pipeline in proprietary CRM.
- Collaborate with sales support teams to maximize sales potential and resolve client issues.
- Travel and/or work nights/weekends as needed for networking events, dinners, and conferences.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and industry developments.
- Assist senior management in developing and updating the regional business plan.
- Apply sales methodologies for new business acquisition, account growth, and churn mitigation.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas.
- Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 5 years experience in field sales, business development, and/or legal sales.
- Meticulous updating of CRM/technology systems for all sales activity.
- Ability to work onsite at El Segundo office on Mondays.
- Residence in Los Angeles, CA.
- Reliable transportation for routes.
Preferred
- Experience in personal injury law.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
