Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and clients to gather software requirements and prepare technical specifications
• Translate business requirements into efficient and scalable software solutions
• Collect, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements
• Validate software requirements and functionality with clients and internal teams

Database & Backend Development

• Develop, analyze, and customize database objects including:
  • Packages, stored procedures, functions, cursors, triggers, and views
• Design and implement database structures such as:
  • Tables, views, sequences, synonyms, and triggers
• Write, update, and maintain program code using:
  • PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite modules (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, AP, PO, AR, GL)

Application Development & Customization

• Implement software customizations and enhancements based on user and technical requirements
• Develop and maintain:
  • Custom application forms
  • Workflows
  • Self-service pages (i-Supplier, i-Procurement, i-Expenses)
• Identify improvement opportunities and optimize performance and functionality

Integration & Cloud Solutions

• Develop web services and integration programs connecting:
  • Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud
  • Third-party systems
• Build automation programs, approvals, notifications, and integration logic using:
  • Oracle PCS
  • Oracle Integration Cloud Service
• Design, develop, and modify Oracle Cloud PaaS and SaaS components
• Develop full-stack solutions using Java EE across:
  • Front-end
  • Back-end
  • Persistence layers

Reporting & Data Migration

• Develop and customize reports using:
  • Oracle Reports 10g
  • BI Publisher
  • XML Publisher
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud (FAW)
  • PL/SQL reporting programs
• Build data migration and conversion programs with validation and error handling

AI & Advanced Solutions

• Architect and design Generative AI solutions using Oracle Cloud and LLMs
• Develop AI-driven workflows including:
  • Chatbots
  • Summarization
  • RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
  • Natural language interactions
• Collaborate with business teams to identify high-value AI use cases
• Translate AI use cases into technical designs:
  • Data ingestion
  • Prompt engineering
  • Model selection
  • API integration
  • UI/UX design
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HR, Supply Chain)

Quality, Support & Documentation

• Test, debug, and modify code to ensure quality and compliance
• Provide ongoing application support and troubleshooting
• Proactively resolve technical issues and process gaps
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reference guides
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and SDLC processes

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification (desirable)

Experience

• 3+ years experience in each of the following:
  • Backend and integration development using PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Enterprise integrations using Oracle SOA Suite 12c (BPEL, Mediator, OSB, BPM, Human Workflow)
  • Web services integration using SOAP, REST, JMS, and adapters (JDBC, FILE, FTP, AQ)
  • Developing enterprise forms, workflows, and self-service applications
  • Custom reporting using Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, XML Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Full-stack development using Java EE
  • Cloud-based application development using Oracle PaaS and SaaS
  • Designing and implementing Generative AI solutions using cloud-based LLMs

Additional Skills
