System Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a skilled System Engineer / System Administrator to manage and enhance our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and scalability of systems while supporting business operations and driving continuous technological improvements.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and domain/sub-domain structures
• Perform server updates, migrations, and troubleshooting across Windows and Linux environments
• Maintain and optimize network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security
• Manage cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure (VMs, storage, networking)
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and redundancy strategies
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply corrective measures
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Bash
• Document system configurations, processes, and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in system engineering or administration roles
• Strong hands-on knowledge of:
  • Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP
  • Domain and sub-domain management
  • Server updates, migrations, and troubleshooting
  • Network infrastructure design and maintenance
  • Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
• Understanding of security principles and compliance standards
• Experience configuring and maintaining SQL Servers
