Overview

With the rapid growth of our iOS app—currently ranked #18 in Productivity on the App Store—and our recent Apple Design Award for inclusivity, we are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to help support our expanding user base and lead new, exciting initiatives.

This is a key role for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about building delightful user experiences.

Our interview process includes several technical interviews and is typically completed within one week.

What You’ll Do

• Lead key engineering and product decisions
• Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app
• Work within a dedicated product team
• Participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap
• Maintain and enhance a complex, existing app architecture

• Experience: Built products that scaled to large user bases
• Track Record: Worked on products from inception to meaningful traction, owning engineering decisions
• Customer Obsession: Constant focus on delivering the best possible user experience
• Product Thinking: Ability to make thoughtful decisions about product evolution
• Speed: Ship quickly while knowing what needs polish and what can iterate
• Focus: Balance collaboration with deep, heads-down work in a remote environment
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI

Technical Requirements

• Swift programming language
• SwiftUI experience
• Multithreading programming experience
• CI/CD infrastructure experience
• Experience with Fastlane
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture
• Experience with Git and various Git workflows
