QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the team’s QE point of contact for all technical matters.
• Mentor peers and junior team members to improve overall QE technical competency.
• Design and automate test cases in line with industry standards.
• Improve test efficiency by collaborating closely with developers and understanding implementations.
• Own and maintain test repositories and artifacts, ensuring quality standards are upheld.
• Establish and support CI/CD setups using automated tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Bamboo in collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Perform functional testing on UI and API components using tools and frameworks such as Selenium, SoapUI, and Rest Assured.
• Conduct non-functional testing, including performance, security, and accessibility testing, using industry-recognized tools.
• Contribute to improving organizational Quality Engineering practices through innovative ideas and approaches.
• Ensure the reliability and effectiveness of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) models within software applications and systems.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of overall experience in Software Quality Engineering, with at least 1 year of hands-on technical QE experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in Agile teams with a solid understanding of DevOps practices.
• ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level.
• Oracle Certified Associate (J2EE), AWS certifications, or other relevant technical certifications (preferred).
• Strong expertise in technical frameworks with the ability to propose solutions for technical challenges.
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming concepts using languages such as Java or C#.
• Experience with non-functional test automation tools and technologies.
• Practical experience in defect management and triage.
• Strong understanding of stakeholder collaboration principles.
• Thorough knowledge of Software Engineering and Quality Engineering methodologies, principles, and solution architectures.
• Good understanding of modern networking, cloud technologies, and recent technological advancements.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Zephyr and JIRA.
• Experience in writing unit tests and performing product deployments is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies (preferred).
• Hands-on experience testing artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) models.
