Trainee Associate Systems Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Associate Systems Engineer to support on-premise and cloud infrastructure, systems administration, and IT operations.

This role provides hands-on experience in maintaining systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with infrastructure-related tasks while working alongside experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring application servers, networks, and on-premise and cloud IT infrastructure
• Support system installation, configuration, and updates
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Assist with system monitoring, logging, and performance checks
• Support user account management and access control
• Participate in system documentation and knowledge base updates
• Assist with backup, recovery, and security-related tasks
• Work with senior engineers to support infrastructure improvements (cloud and on-premise)
• Adhere to corporate guidelines defined in the associate handbook

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of operating systems:

• Fundamental knowledge of networking:
  • TCP/IP
  • DNS
  • DHCP
• Familiarity with system administration concepts
• Understanding of virtualization technologies and tools
• Scripting knowledge:
  • Python

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms:
  • AWS
  • Azure
• Basic understanding of:
  • Application containerization
  • Container orchestration platforms
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
