Position Overview
As a QA Intern, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers across Sweden, Finland, and Sri Lanka to test applications, identify issues early, and support smooth and reliable releases.
You will gain hands-on experience with manual and automation testing and also support workflow automation using tools like n8n to help improve testing processes, integrations, and release efficiency. This paid internship offers real-world exposure to modern software testing, automation, and quality assurance practices in a fast-moving tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in testing web and mobile applications using manual testing techniques.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists.
- Identify, document, and track bugs clearly using tools such as JIRA or similar.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and expected behavior.
- Support regression testing before releases and deployments.
- Help validate fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Participate in sprint reviews, planning meetings, and QA discussions.
- Assist in maintaining basic QA documentation and test reports.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
- Familiarity with manual testing methods and defect reporting.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
- Experience or interest in automation testing (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar) is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in English; ability to work in a cross-cultural, fast-paced environment.
