Job Role
As a Senior Sales Manager – Central Air Conditioning, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding the customer base, and strengthening Abans’ leadership in the HVAC sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximize the customer base by identifying new business opportunities, with a strong focus on Central Air Conditioning sales.
- Build and maintain strong public relations and rapport with clients.
- Arrange and conduct meetings with prospective and existing customers.
- Retain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.
- Manage collection and recovery of payments in a timely manner.
- Review and monitor sales performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Coordinate with the engineering division to prepare client proposals and ensure timely submission.
- Meet customers regularly to secure new orders and support business development.
- Achieve annual sales targets set by the company.
- Organize customer events and represent the company at exhibitions, award ceremonies, and industry events.
- Liaise with suppliers to negotiate best pricing and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management when required.
- Visit outstation sites and clients as necessary.
The Person
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or professional qualification in Sales & Marketing from a recognized university or institute.
Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage. - Minimum 10 years of overall experience, including 2–3 years in a similar capacity within a corporate environment.
- Proven experience in the MEP field, particularly HVAC sales.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and administrative teams.
- Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Valid driving license.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office applications.
