As our Business Development Intern – Digital & IT Services, you will be the first point of contact for inbound leads. You’ll engage with prospective clients, understand their digital/IT needs, qualify opportunities, and hand them over to our project and strategy teams. Under supervision, you’ll assist in client meetings, prepare introductory briefs, and help maintain the lead pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to inbound enquiries via email,whatsapp and phone.
Conduct initial discovery conversations: understand client business, digital/IT requirements, budgets, timelines.
Qualify leads: determine fit (service type, budget, readiness) and assign to the correct internal team.
Maintain accurate records in our CRM / lead-database: update statuses, notes, next-steps.
Assist in preparing and sending proposals, service summaries, and follow-up communications.
Collaborate with marketing & IT teams to ensure seamless hand-over and client experience.
Attend training sessions and meet performance goals (lead-response times, conversion rates).
Continuously learn about our service offerings (web development, SEO, ads, web solutions) to speak confidently with clients.
Develop and document Business Development SOPs, including lead management flow, proposal approval steps, and client onboarding templates.
Collaborate with the management team to organize service packages and standardize pricing documentation.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills. (You’ll be talking to clients and logging notes.)
- Customer-focused mindset: you enjoy engaging with people and helping solve their problems.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing / IT services is a plus (websites, SEO, ads, software).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with multiple leads and moving parts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail—keeping track of leads, follow-ups, and status.
- Ambitious, self-motivated, willing to learn and adapt quickly.
