Job Description
HR Training & Operations Intern
Job Purpose
This is a 6-month internship, extendable up to 1 year, within the HR function. The intern will support training operations, including managing training programmes, MIS reporting, and stakeholder dashboards.
During the internship, the candidate will gain exposure to multiple business units across the company. They will also receive training in financial modelling and valuation, along with preparation for the company’s internal certification.
Successful candidates may have the opportunity to join a business unit as an Analyst upon completion of the internship.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate internal training programmes and events
Liaise with universities and professional bodies to manage external training programmes
Prepare and maintain training calendars, attendance records, and feedback data
Develop and maintain MIS reports and stakeholder dashboards
Manage training-related communications such as newsletters and monthly updates
Handle training materials and respond to user requests via the intranet portal
Key Competencies
Proactive and self-driven approach to work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Management, HR, Finance, Economics, or related fields
Candidates in the final stage of professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or CA Sri Lanka are encouraged to apply
