Position Overview

Software Engineer

The Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and release of web and mobile applications within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective software solutions
• Develop applications focused on the presentation layer using APIs and Microservices architecture
• Write unit and automation test scripts following a test-driven development (TDD) lifecycle
• Contribute to coding best practices, code merges, and release processes
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and standards

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

Experience Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with object-oriented programming
• Strong experience in Python and/or JavaScript (Angular) frameworks

Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Software development experience with Python
• Experience with modern UI frameworks such as AngularJS
• Experience with Microservices architecture and end-to-end UI/API integration
• Knowledge of API protocols including REST, gRPC, and GraphQL
• Familiarity with coding and testing best practices
• Ability to analyze complex business problems and design high-quality technical solutions
• Knowledge of caching technologies and databases such as:
  • Oracle
  • MySQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • MongoDB
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
