Insurance Proposition Executive

About the Role

The Insurance Proposition Executive supports the Insurance Proposition Manager in overseeing the full lifecycle of the insurance product suite, ensuring alignment with business goals. The role focuses on helping deliver competitive, customer-focused products while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive product success.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Insurance Proposition Manager and Insurance Proposition Manager in delivering the overall product strategy and roadmap.
• Gather market intelligence to guide product development and evolution.
• Prepare accurate and detailed business requirements and process documentation.
• Manage and prioritise business requirements into product backlogs.
• Liaise with partners and underwriters to deliver final policy wordings, customer documentation, and web content aligned with target market needs.
• Work with the Design Team to assist in creating product marketing materials.
• Support Development and business leads in creating delivery and adoption plans for new digital capabilities.
• Maintain strong awareness of conduct risk, ensuring fair value products and positive customer outcomes.
• Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day product and product management activities.
• Maintain deep understanding of the product suite, competitor offerings, and market developments.
• Support product launches, updates, and third-party onboarding with distribution partners such as price comparison websites.
• Work with operational leads to establish and execute testing strategies, change management processes, and communication plans.
• Maintain third-party distributor sales requirements.
• Work within agreed parameters, protocols, and naming conventions.
• Collaborate with Development teams on continuous process improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

• Experience in product management or product development.
• Highly motivated with strong time management and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all organisational levels.
• Strong planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in standard MS Office packages.
• Strong analytical, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative team player able to work within diverse teams.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of and experience in the travel or insurance industry.
• Experience using Adobe software, particularly InDesign.
