🚀 The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Java) to join the DCE Sri Lanka Team.

In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining backend systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

⚙️ Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend systems, particularly in distributed environments
• Work with PostgreSQL, Kafka, and MongoDB for backend operations
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver effective solutions
• Conduct code reviews and follow best practices in coding and testing
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering
• 2+ years of overall work experience
• Proficiency in Core Java
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with business users and stakeholders
• Experience in the healthcare domain is a plus
