📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain General Ledger (GL) accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform and review GL, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely clearance of reconciling items.
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring completeness and adherence to timelines.
• Prepare Management Information (MI) reports and support financial analysis.
• Support the preparation of Annual Financial Statements in line with accounting standards.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and internal controls.
• Communicate reconciliation issues effectively with relevant stakeholders and drive resolution.
• Co-lead and supervise an accounting team, providing guidance, reviews, and performance oversight.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting.

✅ Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in General Ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Previous experience in the telecommunications industry will be an added advantage.
• Completed or following a Finance/Accounting degree or a professional qualification
  (CA / ACCA / CIMA / CMA / AAT / CPA) is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Exposure to SAP / ERP systems is preferred.
• Full professional proficiency in English & Sinhala.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure.
