SQA Engineer

Job Context

We are looking for a detail-oriented SQA Engineer to join our dynamic team at Echologyx LTD. In this role, you will assist in ensuring the quality and performance of applications through thorough testing and validation processes.

Your Journey & Impact

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing independently
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure software quality
• Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools
• Ensure compliance with software testing standards and best practices
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide feedback on risks
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver bug-free products
• Contribute creative, solution-oriented ideas

Education Required

• B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science or a related field from a reputed university

Experience Required

• Fluency in spoken and written English
• 1+ years of experience in software testing (manual and basic automation)
• Solid understanding of:
  • SDLC
  • Agile methodologies
  • QA best practices
• Strong experience with:
  • Postman (API testing)
  • JMeter (performance testing)
  • JIRA
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
• Familiarity with:
  • Selenium
  • Playwright
  • Scripting languages (e.g., Python)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
