Trainee Node.js Developer (TypeScript)

We are looking for a passionate Trainee Node.js Developer at entry-level or fresh graduate stage who is eager to build a career in modern backend engineering. This role is ideal for candidates who are keen to learn, grasp concepts quickly, and gain hands-on experience through real-world projects.

You will work closely with senior engineers to develop APIs, automate workflows, improve system performance, and deliver production-quality features using Node.js and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Work with REST APIs, SQL databases, and ORM tools such as TypeORM or Prisma.
• Write clean, readable, and testable code under senior developer guidance.
• Troubleshoot bugs and participate in debugging sessions.
• Contribute to API documentation and internal technical notes.
• Support integrations with third-party systems and internal services.
• Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning.
• Follow best practices in Git, CI/CD, and basic cloud deployments.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Understanding of Node.js, asynchronous programming, and API development.
• Familiarity with SQL (MySQL or PostgreSQL preferred).
• Ability to work with Git and follow branching workflows.
• Good problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and take guidance from senior developers.
